I am of service to the elderly.
I find ways to be of service to the elderly.
I respond positively and respectfully when they call out for assistance or ask me for help.
I am aware of the space they need too. I remind myself that they are very vulnerable.
I know they wish someone would care enough to stop by and offer help.
I do my best to offer them my time and support. If I can help them directly, I do.
They need to know that someone wants to make their day better.
They need to know someone is thinking about them.
I deliver a warm greeting when I see these dear souls.
I let them know that I appreciate them and think of them daily.
I convey my appreciation through actions. My goal is to leave every encounter feeling happy and blessed.
I pay attention to their every word, gesture, and movement when I am in their presence.
I note everything they say and ask them questions to learn more.
I listen carefully to understand their needs.
I look for ways to help them. I focus on them.
I allow them to feel comfortable knowing they receive the love and care they require.
Each time I visit, I receive encouragement from them.
Each time I leave, I feel encouraged and uplifted by their presence.
Today, I aim to lift their spirits and remind them that they matter.
