I cherish the Earth.
Today, I take a moment to consider the Earth.
I see her as most do; as a planet, a rock with foliage, gases, and atmospheres.
I see her as a part of the galaxy, the solar system, the Universe. I see her as my home.
I thank God for creating the Earth.
I acknowledge the beauty that I see around me in this moment.
I feel the warmth of a spring sun on my cheeks, and close my eyes against the blissful golden rays.
I hear the chatter of birds, the hum of insects, and the thrum of life.
I acknowledge the power all around me in this second.
I give thanks for the feel of grass and roots, of solid ground, of the layers that make up the planet.
I am thankful.
As I experience this moment, I appreciate all that it does for us. I whisper gratitude for each and every unique detail.
I acknowledge my responsibility. I apologize for ways I have not treated the Earth well.
In this moment, I am accepting my responsibility.
I am a warrior. I am a defender. I am a protector.
I see the amazing opportunities I have to nourish and cherish the Earth.
I feel anticipation and determination. I am making a difference here, in this moment.
